The Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (or ‘ALBA’), in partnership with the Lexicon of Sustainability, will share its 20-year+ history of helping farmworkers become independent organic farmers in the heart of the Salinas Valley. A series of informational artwork will be used as a way for viewers to understand the values, programs and ecosystem of service providers that drive ALBA’s work toward a more equitable and sustainable food system. This will be of particular interest to food system advocates and other organizations operating, or hoping to operate, farm incubators or doing beginning farmer training that serves marginalized populations.
