Hoes Down Harvest Festival

The annual Hoes Down Harvest Festival is a fun-filled day for all ages that offers a special opportunity to connect with rural life.

There is something for everyone including an extensive children's area, camping, farm tours, live music, wagon rides, and workshops, as well as an all-organic farmers' market with a bounty of seasonal foods including a huge variety of pumpkins, melons, apples, fresh-picked almonds, and walnuts.

Every year for over 30 years, the Hoes Down Harvest Festival has generated valuable resources for local and statewide organizations working on projects which benefit sustainable agriculture and rural communities including the Ecological Farming Association (EcoFarm), Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), Agriculture Scholarship at Esparto High School and many more.
