Inviting the Public Onto Your Farm

Ecological farms tend to be diverse businesses, from the multitude of crops they grow to the various markets they serve. Some farms add a public face to that diversity—some kind of agritourism, be it a farm stand, tours, or meals. Should you? Come meet an agritourism professional who can describe the benefits and challenges of agritourism and the opportunities for partnering with an agritourism organization that can share the load of a sometimes complex task. Our second speaker is a farmer who has successfully embraced a number of types of agritourism on her own farm.
