Cannabis is “legal” to grow for commercial markets. This has presented a plethora of challenges, from using the word organic, to regulations around processing, distribution and marketing. Cities and counties are struggling to accommodate a flood of licence requests for dispensaries. Meanwhile farmers new to actual cultivation are in need of proven guidance to produce high quality product for whatever marketplace they choose. The notion of being certified continues to be a quandary for many farmers.
