Faith & Farming Discussion, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Join this inclusive exploration of the past and present ‘common-roots’ linking faith and farming as we progress into a discussion of the many resources that faith communities offer in our quest for ecological and social sustainability. From sanctuary spaces for migrants to potential urban garden plots; from food banks to sites for alternative farm-stands and markets… we hope you’ll participate in this time of spiritual and interfaith faith reflection during your Eco-Farm experience!

This program is facilitated by Rev. Ryan Althaus of the National Presbyterian Hunger and Eco-Justice program. Ryan is founder of www.sweatysheep.com, a farming and recreational community seeks to utilize deliberative shared experience to bridge faith, social, and economic barriers.
