Native Women in Local-Global Food Systems

From local eco-systems to global solidarity networks, Native women are facilitating connections that revitalize and strengthen traditional food systems in indigenous communities. Through their diverse work in food justice, policy, and education, speakers will discuss the collaborations and connections that support and manifest a vision of indigenous health and wellness in their communities. This workshop will explore the many systems – traditional food systems, ancestral knowledge systems, and sustainable ecological systems – that together support indigenous resilience in a changing world.
