A project of the Ecological Farmer and Ranchers Alliance (EFRA), the Central Coast Livestock Producers will meet to discuss next steps in establishing a USDA certified meat processing facility and in arranging for cooperative transportation to reduce costs for processing and transporting livestock and meat. Interested ranchers are encouraged to join to hear results from the feasibility reports and presentations produced by the Niche Meat Processor Assistance Network (NMPAN) and California Center for Cooperative Development (CCCD) that were funded through a USDA Local Food Promotion Program Grant. Hosted by Ecological Farming Association, EFRA, and the CCCD.
