Range Riders: Coexisting with Predators

Think “Range Riders” is the name of some action-hero group? Famous Western movie? Maybe, but they are real heroes to our environment. Range riders were used by ranchers for years to protect their livestock from predators and to actively manage grazing. In this workshop, learn from an experienced range rider, who will provide practical advice and inspiration to help your ranch, farm, or community tackle complex issues on the land. Also learn how range riding can add valuable tools to your toolbox, including improving grasslands and riparian health, protecting habitat, increasing drought resilience, and sequestering carbon.
