Most farm water conservation measures focus strongly on irrigation practices such as improving water delivery and efficiency, reducing water use in irrigation systems, and all sorts of water management and monitoring methods. Believe it or not, there are many other practices, often overlooked by growers, which can help reduce the demand on surface and groundwater supplies, especially when techniques are combined. This workshop will explore dozens of management, vegetative and structural practices that save water and provide other conservation and economic benefits.
This workshop is approved for 1.5 Soil & Water Management CEUs for Certified Crop Advisors.
