Recordkeeping and planning are essential practices to ensure the viability of your farm. However, many of the tools for planning farm operations and evaluating profitability require years of experience and prior recordkeeping in order to be useful. In this workshop you will be given a series of easily maintained templates and an explanation of essential records that will assist in farm planning and year-end evaluation, allowing you to create a thriving farm business. A template for an annual retreat will be provided and recommended as a way to step back from day-to-day operations and ensure that you are meeting personal, ethical, and financial goals.
