Agroecological Methods to Assess the Resilience of Farming Systems

The main objective of this workshop is to help farmers understand the principles and mechanisms that underlie the resilience of farming systems. How can agroecological management enhance the capacity of farmers to adapt to unpredictable and severe climatic variability? A tool has been developed that uses indicators to assess the vulnerability of farms and improve their ecological resiliency via agroecological interventions that enhance the adaptive response capacity of farmers.
