Distress and Success for Farmworker Dignity/Angustia y éxito por la dignidad del trabajador agrícola

Farmworker Bill of Rights efforts at the local county level are proving to be an inspiring means of building diverse solidarity in the movement for Mexican and Indigenous immigrant farmworker justice in California. These local movements create opportunities for thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations to make systemic policy changes in both easy and complex ways such as confronting a defensive conventional ag industry, and challenging caring-yet-skeptical elected community leaders to take actions that will lead to a shift in ancient power dynamics.
