What Can We Learn From On-Farm Seed Trials?

On-farm variety trials are one of the most effective tools that farmers have for making smart decisions regarding their farm’s future. We will hear from growers who have done extensive seed variety trials on their farms, and we will learn why continual experimentation has been key to their success. They will share their personal experiences on how they set up and conduct field trials, and how they have used the information gathered to ultimately improve their operations. The farmers will also discuss the limitations of field trials, and how proper interpretation of the data can be the greatest challenge.
