How can we build upon school gardens to empower young people to be tomorrow’s good food leaders? This panel will discuss how innovative urban agriculture education programs in San Francisco public high schools are fostering deeper learning about the food system, social justice, and connecting young people to careers in the good food movement. The panel will feature a youth voice, a representative from the school district, and the Youth Programs Manager, Pie Ranch from non-profit farm working collaboratively to build healthier futures for young activists and leaders in food.
