Discussion Group: Making Room For Failure

We all know that farming can be hard: the weather, thin margins, the solitude, the labor. And more often than not, it's experienced alone and out of the context of our shared human experience. Failure is especially challenging to talk about. It can be deeply intertwined with shame, guilt, self-worth, and family expectation. This session makes space for honest and vulnerable sharing, where we can remove the stigma from the word [FAILURE] and claim it as a human experience that we get to define. Let’s talk about the hard stuff, with the goal of shedding its heaviness and drawing strength from our shared humanity in this collective work of agriculture. A facilitated discussion will be led by Real Food Real Stories.
