COVID-19 upended supply chains across the food system and spotlighted long-standing challenges in the livestock industry. The urgency of strengthening California’s meat supply chain is clearer than ever. Building a secure and equitable food system requires coming together to discuss challenges, needs, and lessons learned. This discussion group welcomes all who are involved or interested in California’s organic and regenerative meat supply chain from ranchers tending livestock to certification agencies, processors cutting and wrapping meat, marketers, eaters, and everyone in between. Together we can move forward to develop a strong and equitable organic and regenerative livestock supply chain in California.
