Cultivating Seed Stewardship

Until just a few generations ago, seed stewardship was an integral part of every farm and garden. Now people purchase seeds instead of planting culturally and regionally important heirloom varieties. Our presenters will share experiences with practical hands-on skills of producing, saving, and cleaning seed, as well as the cultural context and guiding principles rooted in the indigenous ecology of interconnection. Come be a part of the seed freedom movement. Learn the art and science of caring for seeds for future generations.
