Governor Jerry Brown has called on farms and ranches in California to become carbon sinks, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address the climate crisis. To deal with California’s ongoing drought, the state also has a grant program to incentivize on-farm water use efficiency. Plus, new healthy soils and dairy methane programs are getting underway. Come to this workshop to learn more about California’s new programs to provide resources and funding to farmers and ranchers wanting to improve soil health, increase water use efficiency, reduce energy and address dairy methane emissions.
