Quack & Coo: Unusual Poultry Enterprises

Duck eggs, quail and squab are all poultry, but making a success of an enterprise with these species is a bit different than with chickens. These different birds offer unique market niches and there is demand for them out there among food enthusiasts. Anthony Bordessa from Washoe Valley Duck Farm started his duck egg business while still in high school and is continuing it as a recent college graduate. He will be joined by a producer of squab or quail or other unusual poultry.
