Greywater Clarified

Greywater has come out of the dark of the waste mentality and into the light of wise water use. Learn how, when, and where to use greywater with plumber/activist Christina Bertea. She has been working with Greywater Action for over 10 years, teaching daylong hands-on installation workshops, training professional greywater installers, and lecturing about sustainable water practices. She hopes to motivate folks to engage as she explains water’s role in climate chaos, and the need to infiltrate all kinds of water into the soil to rehydrate the land and restore small water cycles. While she installs greywater systems that reuse the effluent from our household plumbing, her eco-art often suggests how we can value and reuse the excreta from our bodily plumbing.
