Gardens are the cornerstones of nutritional and environmental education in schools across the country. But many school gardens either lie fallow or are under-staffed and not growing much food. This workshop will discuss how every school can have a high-yielding, low-maintenance garden teeming with educational opportunities by utilizing perennial plants, teacher trainings, and national curriculum networks.
