This dynamic workshop will explore managing agro-ecosystems for maximum diversity and productivity. Tao Orion, author of Beyond the War on Invasive Species, will discuss holistic and organic methods of farm-scale invasive species management. Eric Lee-Mäder, author of Farming with Native Beneficial Insects and pollinator program co-director of the Xerces Society, will explain the latest practical science-based information on how to attract and sustain populations of beneficial insects using habitat features like wildflower insectary strips, hedgerows, beetle banks, cover cropping, and more.
